A Medical-Dental Office Building

The Oakley Professional Center will be built in Downtown Oakley across from the City Center Complex and next door to the downtown shopping center. The Professional Center has been designed to be a blend of the dominant styles and architecture found in Oakley’s renovation-oriented downtown environment.

The City of Oakley’s Leadership and Staff have provided valuable input to help the Development Team design a project that will truly integrate the needs of the community with those of practitioners and patients.
It will bring much needed medical and dental services to the community.
The Building site: Looking North across Main St., just west of Norcross. The 21,000 sq. ft. two story structure is scheduled for completion by early 2021.

The Demographics strongly support the construction of this project. There are only a handful of dentists and one or two physicians’ offices located within Oakley’s city limits. The community is significantly underserved.

Locals visiting the Oakley Professional Center will have a shorter drive time, ample free parking, and the convenience of having multiple healthcare related services under one roof. Easy access off of Hwy 4 and Hwy 160 will bring patients from surrounding communities.

Oakley’s Professional Center will be next door to the downtown shopping district and right across the street from Civic Center Plaza. Guanato’s Ice Cream is located right next door for good patients, both young and old!

Residential construction continues at a fast pace in Oakley where the annual population growth has been over 10% the past three years. This project will bring Oakley it’s first medical dental building.

JIM KIMBALL, PRESIDENT

Mr. Jim Kimball has been active in forming investment groups and developing properties for 25 years. He specializes in rehabilitating and then managing office, residential, and health-related properties. Mr. Jim Kimball is currently the Project Manager for Kimball Associates, Inc. and the leader of this exciting development project.

MICHAEL NAVARRO

Mr. Michael Navarro, AIA, LEED AP, is Principal Architect with Pires Lipomi + Navarro Architects out of Modesto, CA. Mr. Navarro brings vast experience in providing architectural services for design and construction of a wide range of health care facilities.

MARK BODDY

Mr. Mark Boddy is the President of Robust CM, Inc. a construction management firm based out of Salida, CA. Mr. Boddy has extensive experience in managing commercial real estate construction including the construction of many medical properties. He will be responsible for keeping this project on time, on budget and completed according to design.

BUDD SHENKIN

Dr. Budd Shenkin is the development team’s financial advisor and the primary advisor for physician investor/tenant development. Dr. Shenkin was the former owner of a 10 office pediatric practice in the East Bay which he sold to Stanford.

DAVID GINN

Mr. David Ginn is Senior Partner of Ginn & Crosby, LLP, a Walnut Creek based law firm specializing in real estate and construction law. Mr. Ginn will provide strategic planning, land use applications, formation and organization documentation, construction procurement, and ongoing support throughout the development process.

FRANK HANN

Dr. Frank Hann is the primary advisor for dentist investor/tenant development. Dr. Hann is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics, as well as being a member of the local, state and national Dental Associations.
